Capture & report the SSID of the WiFi access point being used (and all nearby APs)
The name of the WiFi access point being used by the missing laptop (and all the nearby APs) would help locate it promptly.

A way to make a screen come up with contact information and saying this is a stolen system
Perhaps your computer wasn't stolen. Maybe the person will want to help you get it back. This is a way to let them know what's up and give them an opportunity to return it. Just an idea.

Up to 15 minutes to retrieve location?
Why does it take so long? I'm just in test mode right now but I assume this is the same time-frame had my computer been actually stolen. 15 minutes is a long time and thief could be miles away by the time you actually send the location.
Any way to speed this up?

'Forgotten your password' function allows recetting password. An email sent to mail account can be easily accessed through 'Mail' allowing thief to recet password, access online account and 'Remove Device'.

Send SMS text msg to owner when missing laptop appears on the net.
When a protected laptop goes missing, owner must find nearby web browser, report it as 'stolen', and then wait and wait for it to report in. This could be hours or days later. An SMS could notify owner immediately when thief goes on-line somewhere, and provide lat/long co-ordinates.

More frequent updates of iSight pictures and screen captures. If possible even instantly when pressing a button on the 'update tracking' page.

Remove or mask hidden app from the Activity Monitor.
Right now, in the Activity Monitor, you can see two processes related to the app "hidden" and "hidd". Change the name or remove it to avoid being detected.

I would like to see info about the company/people that created Hidden on their web site. The way it is now, this info is hidden.

Use google wifi location database (latitude) instead of Skyhook's
Google's Latitude is a much more comprehensive and precise wifi hostpot location database. Skyhook does not work very well outside the USA.

The feedback tab on the left (and how it follows when scrolling) is annoying. Why not put the feedback link at the top or bottom of the page.

Could you provide some sort of sticker saying "protected by hidden"? Might stop it being stolen.
A sticker on the macbook may stop it being stolen in the first place.
